Triumph to provide 765cc Moto2 powerplant from 2019

Following ongoing speculation, Triumph Motorcycles has been announced as the exclusive engine supplier to the FIM Moto2 World Championship, beginning in 2019, with a special race specification triple-cylinder to be provided. Triumph has signed a three-year contract with Dorna – the commercial rights holder of MotoGP – to supply a dedicated race-tuned 765cc Triumph triple engine based on the powerplant from the all-new 2017 Triumph Street Triple.
